Everest start of trek

Once we had landed in lukla on the prop plane , it was a real spectacle to see the gold monument to Sir Edmund Hilary and Sherpa tenzing norgay .

Which gave you a sense of you had arrived and now challenge began in earnest.

The lukla airport was a spectacular flight and amazing start point to meet guides and porters for the task in front of us .
